Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Why are the simple things always the hardest to get right? After making it every single day since April, I've finally perfected the strawberry banana smoothie and I'm so excited to share it with you. 

This smoothie is juice bar level thanks to one special ingredient*. I like to make my smoothies with frozen fruits and veggies because I think they blend better and doesn't have that gritty texture. I always keep frozen strawberries and bananas on hand but this recipe works just as well with fresh fruits if you prefer. Without further ado, find out how to make this delicious treat below!

Ingredients

1/4 cup of almond milk (I also use oat milk sometimes)

3/4 cups or 6 ounces of plain greek yogurt 

1 ripe frozen banana 

7-8 frozen strawberries 

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (I love Trader Joe's bourbon vanilla extract)*

Blend all ingredients on high until smooth. Cheers!
